The BIOMORF Department has established a Guidance and Tutoring Committee composed of the Department Director (or his/her delegate), the Course Coordinators (or their designated faculty), and two students elected by the student representatives on the Department Council.
Among its purposes, the Committee provides welcome, support, and assistance to students in order to guide their choices prior to enrollment, prevent dropouts and academic delays, and connect the course of study with career opportunities. It also supports initiatives aimed at helping students overcome any difficulties they may face in starting their studies, enabling them to successfully pursue their studies, and connecting the course of study with career opportunities. Finally, it offers preparatory and intensive educational activities, both support and remedial, aimed at enabling students to resolve any learning gaps and access the first year of the course. Tutoring activities are also available to assess and improve students' preparation through personalized in-depth study to overcome specific learning difficulties.
