The BIOMORF Department's mission is to foster innovation in the medical field, both in terms of training young people and in terms of scientific research.
The Department employs well over one hundred faculty members from 42 different Scientific Disciplinary Sectors (SSD), a position that represents a significant opportunity for both internal development and for interdisciplinary collaborations, already underway and with potential for further growth. The SSDs represented are not only from the medical field but also from Chemistry, Physics, Mathematics, Computer Science, and other fields. This allows for a variety of approaches and an interdisciplinary approach that broadens the possibilities of both basic and applied research.
In this section of the departmental website, we present our research activities, including projects already developed or underway, and proposals and/or ideas developed by Department researchers, together with our laboratories.
We invite you to discover the fascination of research through a journey through the ideas, innovations, and projects of our researchers by visiting the various pages in this section.
